The Stock Investment Guide software has been update to version 3.1.0, a free upgrade for existing users. You can download the upgrade at the downloads page of the Churr Software web site.
The new version adds some new features. In fact, the changes are numerous enough that I will likely need to add to this article as I recall some feature or change that I missed.
- SIG now includes investment news headlines from Zacks Investment Research
- Added expanded company data and cash position to a Company Position tab
- Printing from the integrated Web browser has been implemented
- Improved Search field within the Library Window
- Fixed a bug that prevented batch update of prices in an Investment Portfolio listing
- Improved the Company Description import for Australian Users in the Free Data option
- Institutional ownership is now displayed when available in the data source
- SIC code is also displayed
