With the new Morningstar-based stock data service at Better Investing, they made several changes including the addition of Canadian stocks to the service. This means additional stock symbols are available.
If you would like to get the updated Stock Symbols, simply follow these steps:
1. Update to SIG version 3.1.4 from downloads.
2. Drag the StockSymbols.rsd file, found in you Documents folder, to the trash (don’t empty the trash yet).
3. Run SIG and a new Stock Symbols database will be built.
4. Once you have verified the new stock symbols, you can empty the trash.
This version also includes adjustments for the new BetterInvesting data service and minor bug corrections.
